The central issue is a contract for the sale of a major engine manufacturer. There is a tussle over who has power to do what is being done. The by-laws are at the center, and there is a misstep along the way. Even when a loophole is found, the bad guys turn the tables. This leads to what makes this show, legal maneuvering, finding that thing that can get you your victory. Michael is incredibly overworked and is still being manipulated. It was fun to see my favorite stoic, Titus Welliver, alias Harry Bosch, as a rather depressed engine designer. He needs to be more forthcoming but public speaking is not his strength.
