yes, yes and yes...

Weve heard it all before from the protagonists of the marihuana plant, all its esoteric oils, nourishing seeds, with its beautiful mindvaping flowers, sitting quite hard on the top of every hemp and weed lovers of the world.

This documentary is complete pro, and the medicinal use, which i do not doupt at all the effects of, fuels this ship called''the magic plant''(not planet as some would say).

Im living with pain, 29/5 will be the 25th aniversarry for me, the day i entered the hell of pain due to fibromyalgia. Ive never done any recreational drugs apart from nicotin which i use in the form of snuff and chew gum these days, as i quit the smoking at 9/4 ,25 years ago( may that be the reason???, ive spent many thoughts on that)also an aniversary, both well worth recieving a silvermedal for, if it hadnt been for the pain...

ive used medicine of strong caracter getting in contact with one of the few pain specialists that are here in norway, and he gave me a life worth living, occationally painful still, 5-6 on the painscale is acceptibel and better than dying from it, which i had plans for ,because it was living hell literally.

Why do i write so much here? Well if my doctor would give me the chance to try out the cannabis alternative i wouldve jumped the train at once. But that may be overdue as my pain reliever has retired, and my house doctor is complete anti alternative medicine that breaks the common law of norway. So i halt and will wait for those glory days to come, even though im a grumpy old man with few years left to breath and breed.

So in the meantime enjoy the curious facts about cannabis and make your own hempriations on the subject. Its not selfcritical and very proverbal on the stuff, a recommend.

"Don't Step On The Grass, Sam"...

Warning: Spoilers
That lyric from a 1967 Steppenwolf song is apropos.

Though I was confronted with health claims I'd not have attributed to "grass", or "weed" as my peers called it, I emphatically noted many items in this doc, which I entirely agreed with.

First, in my twenties, I never got a "run of the mill" headache; I would get migraine headaches; the type which would cause me to stay inside, and shut the curtains (strong light was intolerable).

The pain nearly always seemed to center just above my left eyebrow, and was as if an icepick was being pushed into my head.

For those who understand what a subluxation is; mine would attack me so intensely that I could not stand. I had to lie down.

Neither of these intense pains were solved by aspirin, nor did I want to resort to expensive and addicting pharmaceuticals.

But a simple joint of "homegrown" would, within less than a half hour, annihilate both of them.

I used "annihilate" because the relief was that dramatic.

I noted an overall sense of enhancement; be it listening to music, watching films, or reading a good book.

Watching this doc demonstrated much of what I knew; in History, sailing ships ropes for rigging and sails, were of Hemp. The first Levis (not noted) were of Hemp fiber.

One "spoiler": There are some areas in the doc which put me off; we don't want to mass produce derivatives of the plant, it is sufficient as is, and should not be adulterated as we've done to our food supply.
