The last episode ill be watching

Warning: Spoilers
A perfect opportunity to take representation and spin it in a good way has turned into all we do is, lie, cheat and deceive each other. This episode is the last one I'll be watching. Gigi goes from our pinnacle of somewhat stable to a hot mess going back to her ex? Dani just magically being friends with her ex who cheated on her and the girl her ex cheated with, just no, and where was Micah? Oh he got 5 minutes at the end. Don't even get me started on Shane and what she just did to Tess. Absolutely not, I won't be supporting this. A swing and a miss for me. Young adults people of all ages in the community have so little media to find themselves in and then this teaches them in a way that this is how wer're supposed to be, when it could be teaching them something well rounded and not so flat. Also there's more non binary and trans individuals in the world that could also be represented here. Give Micah more depth, talk about gender. DO BETTER.

Warning: Spoilers
Could this show get any more boring or reductive? Oh look, Shane cheats for the 900th time. No relationship can be faithful or monogamous, it's the same old rinse and repeat rubbish. The Gen Q characters are so dull they're not worth the screen time, and now with Bette and Tina gone it leaves most of the heavy lifting to Shane and Alice. So when Shane is just doing the same old thing, I can't help but wonder why they ever bothered reviving the show? There's too much of the writers trying to right the wrongs of the past and not enough enjoyable storyline's. The OG was trashy, but as a viewer I didn't need it to be anything more. Now it's just monotonous without the addictive trashiness. The show is soulless.

Lazy writing. Unnecessarily destroyed a great couple (Dani and Gigi) who I think are really needed at this moment in time, especially in terms of representation! Rushed, guest stars forced onto the audience to fill a Gigi/Bette shaped hole. I'm not a Tibette fan BUT it's clear what a lot of Gen Q fans want to see - Tibette and Gini! The whole episode was just blah. Unimaginative, too dramatic, lack luster, boring and rushed. I doubt I'll stick around for the rest of the season unless we see Gigi making a return. Would love to be a fly in the wall of the writer's room to see how they came up with this rubbish.
