Donna continues to play with an awful lot of fire by getting involved with Andrew.It's a bit of a contrivance that he's apparently the only person she could go to for advice about the contract while Ringo continues to Not-Really-Bad Boyfriend by spending their anniversary hanging out with a 12-year-old.It's the kind of mixed message the show seems to be sending out a lot at the moment:Ringo's a nice guy but an inattentive boyfriend so it's okay for Donna to go off with a bad boy behind his back.She doesn't seem to listen to Kate's advice and if Kate's filing Declan under the "nice guy" banner, he's probably more of a bad boy.
The Ramsays get some more good family stuff:The scene of them trying on their school uniforms is kind of nice but we've never seen anyone at school in shorts before.A visit from Roz results in Harry coming up with increasingly convoluted plans to get them out of trouble which Kate and Sophie get dragged along with.It's a relief that his deeply flawed scheme doesn't work although Roz's reaction when the truth is revealed does feel a bit too convenient even though the message that they would have been better off telling the truth all along works.
