So, after a couple of episodes of tedium, the 2010 season finally gets back to the decent characters and story lines.Declan and Kate's drawn out romance threatens to ignite...but sadly gets smothered by Declan's erratic behaviour.At least he's not getting in Andrew's face as well. Donna doesn't seem to get much comeback for her recent behaviour, bar Declan giving her an impassioned angry glare in a sequence that seems so abrupt you wonder if there's footage missing.The scene where Declan invites Kate out is rather sweet so the resulting disaster is something of a disappointment.
Rebecca learns the flipside of her blackmailing of Andrew in the last episode as she finds herself stuck with a moody teen who's determined to wind her up and then gets on her high horse with Lyn.Sadly it seems we've seen the end of this plot line as Rebecca tells Andrew he can do what he want.Despite the attitude, he'll probably end up doing what SHE wants.
