I play this stupid fulltilt game since s2 back at 2012...If you are a fan of the game then you know that Riot games made unbelievably good short videos like this (Go watch "Awaken" and "A New Dawn"...We asked for this series for so SOOO long...I expected that they will do a remarkable job but this exceeded my expectations by so far...Where to start and where to finish? Cinematography 10/10 Characters 10/10 fully commited to the characters we knew...And this last 20 minutes might be the best ive seen in a very very long time...The emotions go up and down like a rollercoaster...My only objections was for the backround stories of Jayce and Victor but i believe it will all wrap up at the next episodes...Im so hyped for this series and im begging that they will stay faithfull to what they've done so far.

We could see in this episode that Powder already has some issues as we see her screaming like a maniac which actually translates very well into how she's like in game. It handles the conflict development very well because it actually MAKES SENSE why there would be all out kill or die kind of battle between the sisters (which is what I'm expecting to happen). It did not feel forced and it was honestly some amazing, engaging 40 minutes of TV I've watched. There was not a single loose moment.

I haven't ever played League of Legends in my life, but Arcane intrigued me. I saw the positive reviews and thought that the show couldn't possibly be that good, boy was I wrong! The show is beautiful, all characters are developed extremely well, they will grip you hard with them.
From only 3 eps I'm invested in this show this ep was just wow one word of a Masterpiece, I wasn't expecting Powder to do what she did and that ending tho, I watched the ending 5 times, and my mind was just blown up.

This episode honestly feels like the last episode of a season, but better. It has the action, emotion, and thrill that we only hope a last episode to a season can achieve. Plus the ending makes it an end to a season, not a series. This episode is one of the best (maybe not THE bestest best) TV thing I've ever seen from a single episode. No wonder the IMDb rating is sky-high.

I think I've played LoL only twice in my life and it really doesn't matter, this story is way much more than the game, this story has a life of its own. It has really touched my soul in a way no other stories has done for a long time. A must watch.

This episodes is 40 minutes of pure action and emotion, the turning point of the series. With this episode we see what kind of future awaits our main cast. The voice acting, the animation, the soundtracks and the whole vibe of the show and this episode are amazing. Honestly a 10/10.

Thought this epsiode was overrated. Never played the game. But this episode put me on an edge with incredible story-telling. If you find the ending scene rushed, yes, i found it a bit rushed too but i sure as hell hope it would tie itself up perfectly in the next one. The SCREENPLAY is on another level. SOUNDTRACK is fantastic. CHARACTERS' EMOTION ANIMATION is incredible. PACING is on point. VOICE-ACTING is excellent.

The ending made zero sense, she's done with Vi just like that? It's too drastic of a switch, especially with all that just happened. She hugs the guy who's responsible for all that happened tonight too!? If it's a charade to save herself then I can get onboard, but I don't think it is. This definitely pulled me out of the story, seems lazy and inauthentic. Just to get the characters to their inevitable destination quickly. - this has happened a couple other times, but not as severe. However, overall I am enjoying this show.

The writing for this episode is Z tier. From creating magic in just one night to Vi somehow being able to defeat like 6 monsters alone, everything but the animation was disappointing. The final turn of the episode though was easily the worst. So basically Powder who loved Vi very much is the reason her friends and vander died but gets soooo mad at Vi now she is suddenly hugging a random stranger with a scary face, eyes filled with the desire for revenge. This could have been done so much better but they chose to rush it and now that's how it has turned out.
I don't understand the 10/10 reviews for this ep at all. Anything with alot of gore isn't necessarily good.

One of the Greatest TV Episodes of All Time

Before I get into my thoughts, I just want to say that I don't use that term frequently. I've watched many TV Shows that I consider to be great but not many do I think are capable of capitalizing this level of intensity so early on. And since we're approaching a year since this episode released, I would like to give my thoughts on it since I didn't have an IMDB account back when my good friend put me on this show in May of this year.
Going into TV Shows I don't like to read the synopsis' or look too deep in to the context to avoid any potential spoilers, which can hurt when going into a show early on (Vinland Saga was a victim of that for me, which btw is outstanding as well) but I also didn't go into Arcane with any intellect of the game League Of Legends, which I think makes the viewing experience 10 times better not knowing of any of the characters or what they could potentially become.
With that being said, my viewing perspective might be very different from some because of that, which resulted in an amazing viewing experience for me personally. So here are my thoughts :
Some of my favorite TV Episodes of all time usually split in two different ways
One being the calm episode with a lot of anticipation of what's to come which leads to an ultimate climax that leaves your jaw on the floor -
Game Of Thrones 3x9 - The Rains Of Castamere
Attack On Titan 4x20 - Memories of the Future
Breaking Bad 3x12 - Half Measures
Better Call Saul 3x5 - Chicanery
Death Note 1x25 - Silence
Then there are the ones that from beginning to end are so chaotic that they give you little to no room to breathe and leave you wondering what you just witnessed -
Breaking Bad 5x14 - Ozymandias
Lost 3x22 - Through The Looking Glass
TWD 7x1 - The Day Will Come When You Won't Be
Attack On Titan 3x17 & 4x19 - Hero & Two Brothers
Better Call Saul 6x7 - Plan and Execution.
... and that's where this Arcane episode lands as well. Both types of episodes can be done very well and I don't prefer one over the other, but I think the fast paced episodes that don't take their foot off the pedal are much more difficult to pull off. But what's different about this episode compared to the others is that this was ONLY EPISODE 3 OF THE ENTIRE SERIES!!!!! All of the other episodes I mentioned (and there are a couple more that I didn't include ofc) take years and seasons to build up to that big moment, but Arcane is able to pull it off so early on and the impact emotionally is still there somehow. It's something that I never felt while watching an episode so early on into a show. Game Of Thrones pulled off something similar at the end of season 1, but this felt more crushing to me because there were many components to why this episode was so crushing besides death. Heartbreak, betrayal, and a somewhat slow but quick build up to a decision that was made that changed everything.
The first 2 episodes did a great job of connecting the audience to the characters and giving us hints of what could possibly happen, which ended up being the inevitable outcome in episode 3. The shocking opening minutes get you hooked right away. The intense plan that was slowly getting brought to fruition. The side mission from another party that seemed small compared to everything else that was going on indoors, but that side mission on the outside is what caused the most violence to everyone. And this led to the shocking ending where the curveball was thrown that would change the series and all of the characters for good.
The episode title couldn't have been more accurate. This was indeed the violence that was necessary to change everything. And after, it never was the same.

In this episode we see the tragic results of everything we had been presented in the previous episodes. Multiple plot twists in succession towards the end make sure your eyes stay glued to what's happening on the screen, no matter how gruesome.
I think that Arcane has all the ingredients to be a masterpiece if this level of quality persists across the remaining six episodes. My expectations were pleasantly subverted during these forty minutes and I am more than.eager to see more in the second arc.

This was my third time watching this and i was STILL left shocked and heartbroken by the end! This was edge of my seat stuff! After two intro episodes this was on an entirely different level! Amazing visuals, animation, soundtrack and of course writing and character-work! Powder is the standout here... and so Jinx is born!
Overall i am amazed how the third episode can be THIS good! This is what you would expect from a season finale! This episode will propell you into watching the rest of the show without question!
This show is on the same level as Attack on Titan in terms of world building and character arcs! Both are among the greatest animated shows EVER made, with potential to rival most live-action!

Those first two episodes were great so I was already going to continue watching, but THIS... I was not expecting! Right up until the second it ended it just kept getting better! Not only was the fighting awesome but I never thought a show could make you care so much about its characters after only three episodes. And that ending broke me. One of the best things I've ever watched.

Absolutely mindblowing and heartbreaking at the same time. The music was great. The voice actors have done some fantastic work and all the visuals were perfect. I don't know about the games but this looks amazing, what an incredible set up for the coming episodes. Can't wait to see more of this.

I'm not a fan of the game because obvious reasons,the community being toxic and all but man deciding to watch the his show was probably the best decision I have made this month , everything about this episode was perfect,the animation,the style of the characters, every frame is literally a masterpiece,the music also is spot on ,and here comes the best part ,the story is incredible and the transformation of how powder became jinx was so emotional and leaves quite an impact,with great voice acting from everyone, honestly imo it doesn't get any better than this.

So damn epic, this episode was really good, I loved everything. The dialogues, the looks, the emotions, everything is taken care of in the smallest detail, I am amazed by this series. This particular episode is fantastic, the best of the top three hands down in my opinion.

I just bombed up all my friends and killed the guy who protected us and almost got my sister crushed under a pile of ruble... so she got angry and pushed me so from now on imma be this generically psycho character who wants to blow up everything for no reason whatsoever.
