"I just think you need to know where his head's at"

There's a lot of people in this episode that are harder to like than usual.Declan demonstrates once again why leaving him to look after a child on his own was a really bad idea, he's completely consumed by anger and unable to look past the next easy solution.Paul demonstrates his credentials as a stepfather by helping Declan carry out his plan in response to one bitter, self-pitying speech.Rebecca perhaps begins to realise exactly what she's coping with.Toadie gets angry and achieves nothing once again.

Oh-and Zeke is in annoying angry mode as well.Sunny once more ends up being on the receiving end in what seems to be turning into an abuse cycle. The parallel conversations with Zeke/Ringo and Donna/Sunny don't really work although Sunny's assessment of boys' thought patterns is actually pretty to the point.Ringo and Donna going jogging together is a cute scene and if they actually follow through on the Ringo as paramedic idea and it isn't just a passing fancy it could be an interesting development.Ashleigh Brewer as Kate makes the most of an underwritten part.
