This was a riot.

Elliot takes Helen hostage, the pair attempt to outrun various people trying to get to him.

What is going on with the reviews for this, I think the point is being missed, it's such a blend of genres, it isn't trying to be a straight up thriller series, there's too much humour for that, it's almost like a comedy caper thriller.

Very funny, Helen and Elliot together, they're just making it, the restaurant scene was a hoot.

I'm still thinking it's drugs, and that Elliot has double crossed Kostas somehow. On that note, I think Kostas is a great villain, he's so menacing, the scene with the poor taxi driver was something, but I felt his pain, I can't bare people slurping either.

We don't get many Greek villains these days, made a nice change, we're given a few pointers as to why and how he's somewhat unhinged, and that final twist was unexpected.

Poor Lemon.

8/10.

Great Fun

I put off doing episode 2 and started something else. It turns out that this is quite fun. First of all we have a guy with no memory, not even of food and drinks, a police officer with low self esteem who has a heart of gold trying to help the guy. They end up in the oddest position when the car breaks down. They are being pursued by a psychotic cop who appears to be dying. We have a Greek who is after our amnesiac who thinks he has a brother with him. But! And then there is Victoria who is at the center of a lot of this. She is a liar and has some connection with the Greek guy. But we need to hang in till the end to find out why everyone is acting as they are. I'm looking forward to the next episodes, but I was disappointed to see there is a second season, so I suppose there will be no closure.

Episode 4: Funny, humorous, engaging with some thrills along the way. The acting is relatable, the situations campy tense or outright with comic moments in a good way, some unrealistic plots and actions throughout which put some stop to the enjoyment; in one word well-made, if you don't take it seriously.

It's starting to go downhill, so it seems, unless the last two episodes or at least one of them is brilliant.

Episode 4

Billy was up to his neck in trouble. I still thought he might get up. After all he seemed to have no long term effects from falling down a well.

The Man finds out that Luci has lied to him and she has multiple identities. It certainly spices things up.

Helen's complaint against the Man seems to be he leaves behind dead bodies. Not necessarily that he is responsible for killing them.

At least as the episode goes on. The Man leaves Helen behind and the realises that he needs her. Helen leaves a clue to her whereabouts. DI Rogers is on the trail.

As for Kostas, he is the big bad who lands in Australia. He did not like his pick up driver.

There are several effective twists concerning several characters.

One take I did get from all this. Given that Australia has a tough anti immigrant policy. After this it will get tougher, all the foreigners seem to be killing the locals!

Warning: Spoilers
This ep made me log in to speak to a manager.

Terrible and repetitive dialogue.

Constable Chambers maddening decision to not fire at Billy (except a pointless warning shot). A man comes and fires on a home and the only shot the Constable takes is a warning shot???

Billy missing Chambers point blank.

Billy climbing out of a well with cowboy boots🤠🤣

Just a mess of an ep.
