[8.5] The oh so dark hoodie!

I liked the episode. It was more like an XL filler to the whole story, explaining many things and shedding some lights on many twisted matters.

The acting was great as always with Jeanette's mom stealing the show IMO, as well as Jeanette herself with her "magically" dark hoodie!

The scene at the end where Sarah aka Jeanettes mom frustratingly tries to make the dad understand her perspective is so powerful! Stunning work from Sarah.

Finally we are getting SOMETHING in this season since the 2nd episode. This episode was good.

Bouncing back

Last week felt like a misstep in my opinion. This week we finally got a consequential Jeannette episode. We were given a bit more backstory regarding her character arc and finally received a little more explanation for what's going on with her mom. It was far from the best episode of the season so far but for the first time in several episodes we were no longer treading water. Next week promises to ramp things up so we'll see how that goes.
