...and as you can expect I saw a handful of clunkers, but also a couple of pretty decent flicks. A few short films stand out to me, but the one feature film that stood out was Leed's Point.
Watching the flick you can tell the budget was pretty limited, but they worked well with what they had. I thought the movie was directed well, and the dialogue wasn't too bad for a small budget independent Jersey Devil horror movie. The lead actor(Chase) did a good job playing a tortured detective whose job became very personal when his son went missing along with a bunch of other children. One scene especially stands out in the last few minutes(you will know it when it comes).
Overall, a decent small budget flick which was well written, directed, and casted. I would highly suggest if you like to grace the independent film circuits.
