Could have been really good

So there is a mother that is nice as long as your nice in return. But once she becomes obnoxious in a movie theater and Wade asks her to lower her voice because people around them are upset at her she turns into a royal jerk. A person that has to be mature and an example to their kids shouldn't be caught dead shhhh someone when they themselves can't take when it is rightfully deserved. This episode makes it seam like Wade some how did something because he shhh a woman. I get the times we live in now a days, but no one likes talking in a movie theater no matter what gender. For him to, as he called it, take his medicine from her is ridiculous. It's understandable to assume someone as immature as that woman was acting would be the type of person to not invite his kid to her daughters birthday party. But once he finds in his spam folder it's a simple apology. An apology he can't finish because she is shhh him the whole time. I get this show is meant to be a comedy but that wasn't funny. Family Comedy like this they have people act stupid but they realize what they did wrong and work it out. There are morals present in the show while it worked out with the female coach and the father. They made it seem they way it needs to work out is a man never correcting a female. Just let her be her no matter how inappropriate it may be. That's not a lesson my kids will be learning. Sometimes things don't go your way. Sometimes people don't accept your apology and that's ok. But that is what how this was depicted. It was or at least seems intentional that the lesson Wade needed to learn was never correct a woman. That fact that the other situation with the father and coach worked out In a mature way is the only reason I gave it the rating I did. I get sometimes that a show is not just trying to depict a situation realistically, but sometimes the way it should turn out to try to be a guide of how to handle a similar situation in real life. But if that's what they think should happen in this scenarios they are dead wrong. Just because you are a Woman, or a minority does it mean you are always right and that nobody should correct it when you're wrong.

Mean Girl Woman

Confusion over party invite going to SPAM folder is a different issue to a "grown up" mean girl loudmouth in a theatre is "shushed" by others, when Wade was actually pleasant to her suggesting she stop talking.... This show is confusing, I like the character of Wade, but the show is very inconsistent...... hopefully it will keep trying to find it's footing - it's only first season after all!!
