With a pretty good cast composed of Jason Biggs, Rob Corddry, and Eva Longoria-Parker, and an interesting enough storyline of a failing school facing closure by the schoolboard, I thought this actually stood a chance to at least toss out a few laughs.
Unfortunately, two minutes into the film, it basically gave up on itself (I specifically note the fat kid farting while raising the flag up the pole). These days, especially living in California, I know what it's like to see failing schools due to grades and budgetary issues. . . unfortunately, this ignored anything even remotely interesting on these subjects and, instead, focused more on a bunch of annoying characters and a minimal & stupid plot.
I'd suppose the only benefit of this film is to give hope to aspiring filmmakers that with a couple million dollars and a few connections, one can make a film with some reasonable stars and make some money from it. Other than that, avoid the film unless you literally expired every other option.
Final Verdict: 3.5/10
