One of the good movie, just watched without much expectations. But literally movie came out very well. Nice plot , clear cut story line, good casting.

Background music also came out good. Not looking like work of the debut director.

Waiting for the next part.

#PothanurThabalNilayam Retro heist thriller set in the 90s which is made on very low budget...Decent 1st half & very intersting 2nd half with twist and turns...Unknown cast but all of them have done quite well. Art direction, Dialogues and BGM stands...if the director got huge budget this could be even better...and the lead for part 2 in the climax looks worth...big thumbs up to the whole team...don't miss the movie...

I am sorry for those who feel this is an average movie. It was an absolute delight to watch. Unpopular faces who fared far better than most popular ones. Simple yet superb cinema. Kudos to everyone involved in its production.

This average film. The film is slow and dragging. Editing is not up to the mark. The film could be better if they have reduced the length of film. Walking and other scenes are shown which could avoided .

Average 1st half because to set the plot and a excellent 2nd half. All the cast and crew done a very good work. The cinematography is good. The actors were acted well. Very good work by director and the actor Praveen. A Must watch film.

The story might sound good on paper, but the execution is utterly poor. Everything seems predictable and all the scenes looked like a staged drama. The actors performances were too artificial! This film fails to entertain us on a basic level.

A boring film set on a backdrop of 90's, the art work team had done a decent job. The lead actor's performance was Abysmal. Aha OTT had been providing quality content, they should have thought twice for this project! Couldn't tolerate the first part itself, please don't make a so called "sequel".

A protogonist who is expect business loan for his computer business..meanwhile his father lost his office money and seeks help from others.. So he decided to help him and brilliantly he used that money for his business... Excellent screenplay and dialogues...!

All castings are new but they done well.. Must watch crime thriller...!

Film storyline and visuals was amazing and engaging according to its timeline,but if some humor is added extra little bit,it could have been a blockbuster anyway i just wanted to convey this to director praveen because his second part should hit in theatres and do a blockbuster.once again hatsoff to director praveen we want such more nostalgia films from u,i thoroughly enjoyed.

Certainly can watch it. Worth the time spent. I like the dialogues in the movie and Hero has acted decently. Everyone in the movie has done their part well... Period film is not that easy to recreate and this low budget movie does the job well..

Engaging suspense thriller with lots of effort to bring the retro feel

Engaging suspense thriller and good direction. The story keeps you very engaging till the end with some good twists and turns. Lots of effort have been put to create the retro feel (80s) and hats off for bringing that out seamlessly. Especially, recreating post office of the retro times is a phenomenal job. This suspense thriller makes us suspect different characters but ultimately ends in a treat to watch. Good attempt has also been made to add humor to the movie to make it a worth watch. The cast crew has also been chosen very apt to the characters involved in the story. Some good music and BGMs makes us humming those tunes post watching the movie. Immerse yourself in the 80s with this thriller and enjoy the feel!

It has its ups and downs could have been better at some parts as humor and dialogues, the actor/director parveen did a subpar job in the acting field can't blame as it is his first movie other than that I really enjoyed the movie has enough elements to grip you til the end.

The hard work to bring back the 90's in screen is visible in the beginning scenes. Thats all after that it is the stretch of one simple story to feature film. The story/thrill/suspense all are so average. The leading pair is another let down, Praveen could have concentrated more in story/screenplay than acting. Unnecessary preaching is added in lot of places just to elevate the Hero... The comedy is total thud. Lot of scenes are so unoriginal and could have been better in lot other ways.... Not everything can be "moodar koodam"

A good locally made thriller

A fairly well made local film , a thriller shot partly in the former Tamilnad Mercantile Bank near my Dental Centre..Good effort to bring the Nineties feel of Coimbatore, the shots in the dilapidated Railway quarters in Podanur, good music by Allen and all the characters.
