No credit for Hikaru?

I don't believe for a minute that the Oscar character survived for 37 moves against Chess Grandmaster Hikaru Nakamura.

He probably couldn't make it 37 moves against me and I doubt I'd survive 21 moves against any Grandmaster.

Setting the stage nicely

Looks like they're setting up Season 5 to feature everything I love about Billions, with a compelling new antagonist in Mike Prince.

It's just flanderization now

Watching the second episode and the characters are just getting reduced to their singular personally trait. Its not even funny how hard and unrealistic this show had become. I guess they've just run out of ideas now.

Boring..

Unlike other seasons, this one even in the second episode is quite boring tbh. It seems they don't know what to do with Chuck's part. Always the same script, attitude, scenario... The list goes on and on. Also, Axl is like lost in the wind... For a character that was build in the previous season with huge confidence and arrogance, now he is so mild and insecure in his actions. Very slow episode...

So boring I ended up rewatching a different movie for the 30th time.

Before I was even half way into the episode for the first time, it already felt like a rerun of a show well past its prime. Watching Chuck felt like watching a watered down version of season 2. His actions make absolutely no sense and yet he is entirely predictable. Absolutely everything is entirely predictable and unimaginative. "we are just going to do what we did in past seasons but more"..... Just cut the dead weight and fire the writers already.

The "its torture" line was the most cringe thing I ever seen in the show. The dialog in this episode felt like it was written by a high school student the night before their theatre project was due.

I used to enjoy this series but IMO the latest is just drivel. What are the writers thinking?
