An underwhelming start to the season, but...

...I learned more therapy watching this episode than I pay my therapist.

Nothing substantial in this season premier, except a bunch of convoluted teaser scenes, but the little refresher flashbacks where good.

Now I'm going to go beat my pillow and yell.

Finally how to get away with murder is back, and for its final season. As always Viola Davis's acting is on top form and I seriously think she'll give the Other Emmy contenders a run for their money this awards season. Interesting premise and good dialogue. It might be a slow start but for it's final season it's crucial to tie up all character arcs in the best and most complete way possible.

To much pillow pounding. I guess everyone has to get back on the same page so issues can be addressed. Since this is the final season, I wonder how much of the past will emerge again. Alanlise is still dominant. As for the rest, what a bunch of ineffectual characters all in the same place at the same time. Who's selfish? I'm selfish. You're selfish! We're all selfish. The whole therapy bit is contrived, so let's get moving with a plot development. Oh, yes, there's Laurel. She's sefish!

I am frustrated! I cannot process how much evil was the cliff hanger of this episode. I do not want Annalise to die!!!!!!!!!!

Worse than season 4, and that says a lot.

10 minutes in and already this is making me want to quit. This is looking to be even worse than the total waste of time that was season 4.

Last season ended with a big disappointment, no resolution to the plot whatsoever.

This season's premiere is looking to continue from there, and taking it's sweet time doing so. There is more of nothing, No new plot. No new murder. There is LOTS of totally pointless alcohol therapy groups though.

One ponders if society in North America is that addicted to alcohol. Every scene and every decision is made while drinking. Anna Lise is just an alcoholic for what she does during the all series :drink. Get's the plot tiresome, alcohol and more alcohol.
