It is an interesting mini-series that it is worth it.
it is about the dissappearence of Natalia, the daughter of a latin-speaking nurse that leaves the Mexico with her daughter to escape from her husband. After the disapperance of her daughter a lot of insident happens that make it diffucult to solve this over.
Different people, different motives, but only one solution. Watch it as different storylines meets and how they interact to lead to the solve of th case!

With its up and downs

Intense and dramatic from beginning, with careful attention to location imagery and some good performances does not attain the credibilty it intends to deliver particulary in last episodes where they are paying more attention to leave the door open to a new season than to wrap it up with a blockbuster ending. Is not boring to watch but nothing special either
Give it time.....

This is a series that takes a little time to get rolling, but, trust me: the wait is worth it. A Latin-speaking mom, Monica, a nurse, leaves Mexico for Spain with her husband and teenaged daughter. Her husband had a shady background, and, soon, it appears people in Madrid are hunting for them. Why? Revenge, leverage for extortion? It's not clear. Enter a hit man, following the wife. The assassin, Daniel, is a lookalike for a young Beniccio Del Torre (actor's real name: Eduardo Noriega.. sounds fake). By pure coincidence, Monica saves Daniel's life after a public terrorist bombing. Daniel relents, keeps his 'hit' money, but starts to act as Monica's bodyguard.
When Monica's pretty daughter, Natalia goes missing, Daniel (who is actually a former cop, but washed out) offers to aid in finding her. Soon, Monica herself falls into enemy hands while chasing down leads. It's up to her husband, and Daniel to get to the bad guys in time. But can they rescue Natalia, who has been trafficked abroad, in time?
Edge-of-your-seat suspenseful, with brilliant use of coincidence, and a mix of connected characters, this top notch series makes it hard to shut off. Binge worthy indeed. Congrats, Netflix-you batted it out of the park with this one!

Intense, interesting mini series filled with action and intrigue

I certainly thought this was binge worthy for Netflix. I hope they have a second season of this to carry on the story.
There were twists and turns that came towards the end that made the storyline understandable. If the only criticism, is that it took awhile for the storyline to really get twisty.

Usual Mexican Telenovela

Fantastic till the last episode

Warning: Spoilers
Fantastic gripping story until the last episode or maybe last two ---
Showing a cop helping an inscrupulous man and then showing him free just doesn't make sense, especially considering he actually committed the Polanco murder
Urrutia should've been killed - no sense bringing her back alive after helping a convict escape.
Humberto shouldn't have committed suicide - when he could've overpowered the cop-then what's Molina?
The actual hero Dani was sidelined in the last episode - which was stupid to do by the writer
Gripping episodes and storyline until the last or may be last two episodes

Yet another load of yuppies getting their comeuppance. Come on TV and film makers I am tired of the pretty privileged getting "what they deserve" in these crime series etc. How about some more normal looking folks or even worse getting over elaborately sorted? Nah, it will never happen while there is an endless supply of skinny supermodels to do damage to. I dunno what it says about we viewers either... rocks off voyeurism, yuck!
'You Cannot Hide': Pretty Darn Good!

Muy bueno!
And kudos to Principal Actor/Model and Executive Producer - Blanca Soto, for giving us a female version of the movie "Taken." 10 x 45 minute episodes, so just the right length to provide depth, character building - and allow binge-watching. Quite a few twists and turns; as usual - not everyone is who they seem to be. You'll see.
Story is simple, bad ex-husband gangster is in Mexico, Blanca flees to Madrid and her daughter is "taken" - the rest of the movie contains a pretty good cast of supporting characters in both countries, Police Forces and so on.
Aided by a repentant 'hitman' the 5ft 10 ins Blanca goes on the rampage in two countries. I won't say much more except that I believe you will get in to this and after an episode or two, you'll be hooked.
So, congrats to Blanca Soto and her Executive producing skills, who knows there could be a sequel (there were THREE "Taken" movies after all.)

Warning: Spoilers
Mini spoiler, In the first episode, there are 2 chances where the show could have ended inside of 3 episodes, with the girl escaping. But both times the poor scriptwriters made it so unrealistic.
Then there was the traditional needing to make a call but the mobile phone battery does and the other one where you make a call and the other person does not answer.
There are two distinctive plots, neither go into detail to explain why. Worth watching if you want to improve your Spanish

Have been waiting to watch a good thriller for ages.Imagine my disappointment when I turned on this programme and found out it was in Spanish with English subtitles.Watched the first episode and there was enough in it to keep going (I switched off the Irishman after half an hour)It keeps you engaged , Bianca Soto and the alcoholic ex cop are excellent with most of the actors being more than competent. The writing is mostly excellent with enough twists without going overboard
Is it perfect ?No but better than 95% of crap they serve up nowadays
I kinda hope there isn't a season 2 because as much as I love the characters my gut feeling is that the story has run its course

A Mexican-Spanish telenovela
fact-fiction-bvba30 January 2020
You Cannot Hide is a Latin American TV series with soapy characters, some bad hombres and very evil Chechens. The women are either a saint or stupid and somewhat bad... And if you're half braindead, don't worry, there are plenty of flashbacks! Nevertheless: enjoyable. And great to polish your Spanish.
Good one

Mehhhhhh - cliché cliché cliché
ggcarbone20 April 2021
Not great, the acting is bad, the plot is cliché, they would have to produce a movie instead of a series, it is too long. There will be a season 2 which I'm not going to watch for sure, after the 5th or 6th episode it gets quite boring and you want it to end, season 1 is already stretched and can't imagine watching a season 2. The fighting scenes were just awful. Beside I was dually watching The Serpent (2021) and it is huge a difference in acting, plot and production like day/night difference, watching something really good at the same time makes this Mexican series very disappointing.
Amazing

Exact same Euro garbage cop show.

Drunk ex cop helping someone save a family member, to become lovers at the end. These two lovers go a rogue mission across multiple countries, committing multiple crimes. The entire main cast are directly connected to each other. This one didn't have a heavy handed LGBTQ thing to it, like the crap Netflix shows(I don't think Mexico is big on that)
Excellent action packed thriller!!

An excellent suspense thriller with a fast moving story line! The plot revolves around a mother (Monica) and her daughter (Natalia) trying to escape their violent past. Monica is played by the very beautiful and talented Blanca Soto, who in addition to playing the lead role, is also the executive producer of the series. Blanca Soto delivers a powerful performance as a mother pursuing to keep her family safe. Very intense performance as Monica! Very good performance by everyone!! Excellent soundtrack and cinematography!! All in all, a must watch exciting thriller!!
More garbage...
