Surprised me

I still like American Dad. Even though occasionally one episode will be either great or totally terrible, overall I think the show is still pretty fun to watch. But let's be honest people: the very best times of American Dad are quite a few years behind us...

That is why I refused to expect much of this new seasons first episode. But I was totally surprised by how fun it was! Pretty creative, good episode, using the insanity of Roger's character to potential. Fun watch!

Season Premiere

I love Narcos, and I love American Dad, but this wasn't the strongest season premiere by any measure.

A couple laughs, but more annoying than funny behavior from Roger.

Great, until the end

It was a splendid idea to go back to Stan's roots before the C.I.A, and explore what kind of person he was. It featured great moments throughout, but had one problem. This episode had a strong run through Stan's past, but it fell apart at the end. I couldn't exactly pick out the lesson and Stan's character development, and the ending was overall rushed. Other than that, this episode deserves some praise as a solid return to the series.
