a dinner
Kirpianuscus23 September 2023
A visit. A dinner. A group of friends. The dialogue driving in sensitive direction. The naked truth in body of simple confession about ove, mistake, answer to provocative situation.

A film about vulnerability, good intentions, barriers, impressive for high realism and for admirable craft.

The best part is the inspired performance of Care Dunne as a sort of victim, prisoner of past, naif hoper about return in the circle of friends and victim of fate, cruelty, so direct and honest, of other, victim, in same measure, of circumstances.

A simple story, precise in each detail.

And not the story itself, after the fina credits, real matters but the metalic taste of a stigma and accepted impossible come back.
