Sponge and Squid dynamic is good
blsto12 July 2021
Bubble Bass's Tab works pretty well. Most jokes land, and the concept has creativity, if in a goofy way thanks to Bubble Bass's low-budget basement design. Kooky Cooks has good humor in spots too, though it leans a little more into the weird and uncomfortable at times.

Both of these episodes have Spongebob and Squidward together for substantial amounts of time, and they luckily play off of each other well. Spongebob's cheeriness doesn't become annoying, and Squidward is delightfully gloomy with appropriate bursts of other strong emotions when he feels he needs to take charge.

Warning: Spoilers
Kooky Cooks - 9/10 (Really funny, would be 10/10 if it wasn't so similar to Krusty Love) Bubble Bass' Tab - 8/10 (Mostly pretty solid, but the ending is kind of dragged out.

They seriously showed THIS to kids?!

Warning: Spoilers
Kooky Cooks.

What a weird episode to "digest" on.

No pun intended. But...seriously, they turned Mrs. Puff from a caring boating school teacher to a homicidal maniac by wanting to EAT Spongebob.

She's gone further insane than in Demolition Doofus.

I understand that they didn't show Mr. Krabs getting eaten by an actual human in the wishing well episode and Plankton inside a Krabby Patty being eaten in the Banned in Bikini Bottom episode, but holy crap on a stick. This took a dark turn than what was unexpected. This episode tried to display VORE in a Spongebob episode.

The thing that's been noticeable is that Spongebob's viewers have been decreasing with each season. The first episode of season 12 had 1.4 million viewers, and the end of season 12 had 0.66 million viewers. This episode had 0.48 million viewers.

Like...what is going on here? This just shows how fallen a show like Spongebob has become.
