The economy drive doesn't go too well.

Times are hard, and Tripper is looking for ways to economise, be asks the staff for suggestions, naturally it wasn't a wise move.

Is it just me, or do they just seem to be ever so slightly following the plots of Are you being Served? Did they not have a similar episode there?

This wasn't the best one, it's the weakest episode so far. It didn't have many laughs, it was just badly produced, and cheaply made. Not great.

Some of the characters are pretty nice though. A drunken Alf was pretty funny, and I did chuckle at Mrs errrr 's efforts to get a baby.

It surely gets better? 4/10.

Token of Esteem

Tripper wants everything ship shape as the area manager is coming around.

The rest of the staff are up to their usual shenanigans. Laurel is late, Hardy is Bolshie and Higgins wants the Saturday as there is a football match.

Hilda wants to have a baby, you would have thought she would be past it by now.

Tripper always looks for a little baksheesh when a sales rep arrives. This time the area manager catches him.

Another underwhelming and tired episode. Tripper uses catchphrases from old comics which Mr Christian never gets. The best bit was using a hospital x ray machine when some labels fall off some tins in a flood at the stockroom.
