The idea behind this series was great. A reality program situated in the middle ages. It could have been brilliant. Unfortunately a lot is missing.
First off the lack of religion (Mother Church) in a medieval setting is highly debatable (unforgivably incorrect even) and secondly there are only nobles and serfs. No merchants and no handicraft whatsoever. The program is focused solely on the game of winning the title and only the surroundings and clothes are 'medieval'.
Thirdly the series lost some of its most interesting persona's within 4 or 5 episodes already, replacing them with lesser imaginative and certainly less medieval-proof characters. The supposed 'grand finale' simply was a dud. A certain anti-climax, possibly due to the already high production cost of the series.
