Amateurish necrophilia tale.
HumanoidOfFlesh2 May 2008
First of all "The Necrotic" is extremely obscure and rare,so good luck finding a decent copy of this low-budget necrophilia tale.Still it is actually no bad thing.Apparently based on a true tale of doctor Carl von Cosel and his necrophiliac love for 22-year old and dead Elena "The Necrotic" offers zero suspense, gore and creativity. The editing is amateurish, the soundtrack is truly strange including terrible love ballad and heavy metal track by Metal Church and the acting is one big joke.Admittedly the image of two dead bodies lying on the bed in front of a crazed doctor is positively chilling - shame that the rest of the film is so amateurish and dull.I haven't seen any other horror films by Louis Ferriol including "The New York Centerfold Massacre",but I still want to.3 out of 10 and that's being kind.
