Things sure of changed!

The judge is expected to "judge" his own son after he guns down a poker player, Darby Boy. The judge doesn't want the responsibility, but Hoby tells the judge that he has no choice - there is nobody else.

I must say that this is a problem we don't see today. You wouldn't find a judge sitting on the bench when his son or daughter or even cousin is on the stand, I wouldn't think. The government, lawyers, and opposing party would all deem him unsuitable due to "conflict of interest."

Ellen Corby always seems to have a domineering personality in everything she plays. Of course, she did wonderful in The Waltons.

Oh, and that woman! She sure could hit hard.
