Lucy and Ethel done a disguise as male reporters in this episode where Ricky is thrown his own baby shower after filling neglected by Lucy's focus on her pregnancy. The episode begins with Lucy kicking Ricky out because of a surprise baby shower, and Ricky begins to feel that she's forgotten completely about his needs. At his doctor's suggestion, Lucy arranges for Ricky to get his own baby shower, and at least there we get to see the guests for more than just a flash of a second.
One of the funniest moments comes from Ricky's reaction to Lucy's sardine hot fudge sundae, one of the grossest food combinations in TV history. The grossest moment is though when Ricky goes to try it. Lucy and Ethel certainly look funny disguised as men, and this would set the stage for similar antics of other female pairings in TV history. It's another episode that doesn't advance the story but has some very funny moments especially when Fred indicates that he didn't consider Ethel's disguise a disguise.v.
