I wish I could give this more than 10 stars. From the outlandish premise, the awful writing to the sweet and loveable Dick Van Dyke playing a hardened mob boss these episodes are fantastic. Please watch for a hilarious escape from reality.

Yikes!

I stumbled on this episode while waiting for my clothes to dry in the dryer & was mesmerized how bad it was for 60 minutes. Dick Van Dyke plays a lookalike mobster named John Gotti (hmmm) who wears sunglasses to differentiate between the mobster & Dr Sloan. I just stayed tuned in because Michelle Stafford plays a spicey girlfriend of Mr "G" & was always wearing something skimpy. Overall, CBS should've cancelled the series halfway through this episode & fired the writers.

I remember this, and the following episode, from the original broadcast.
It irritated me then and still does now.
This so-called mobster just happens to look like Mark Sloan, down to the mustache and haircut, and moves into the same neighborhood? Yeah, right...
The only reason (for me) to watch these two episodes are the female guest stars.
btw, this aired on MeTV on the same day that Michelle Stafford returned to The Young and the Restless (1973).
