Rosie (Dorothy Lamour) is a former waitress who is now a bag lady. Sweet and harmless she is knifed to death.
Her last words were 'husband' while Harry Fox consoles her. Harrison gave chase to the killer.
Her friend Vi had some possessions left by Rosie. Vi wants Harry to catch the killer before letting on that Rosie was her sister.
On Rosie's possession was a comb from an exclusive hotel. She also recently had come into some money. It leads Harry Fox to a young man who married an elderly lady who soon died.
It seems this young man was mixed up with Rosie somehow. Harry and Harrison need to find out whether the elderly lady was murdered and what was Rosie's role in all this.
By now Crazy like a Fox is going the Murder, She Wrote route with several old time actors in this episode. Dorothy Lamour, Beverly Garland and Jayne Meadows.
Some of the action scenes are a bit too wacky. I did like Harry impersonating Tony Curtis from Some Like it Hot.
