Spellbound (#5.15)

Warning: Spoilers
Loretta finds out that Nick is cheating on her and wants to leave him. She comes to Cheers and Carla and Diane make her feel better. She also thinks to pursue her singing career and starts singing at the bar. Nick comes to take her back, but Sam tells him to go away. So Nick says that if Sam took his woman he will take Sam's.

A bit better than previous episodes but still not as great as usual Cheers standard. Actually Nick's magic already worked on Diane. I remember her passing out once. And why did she make him go after Loretta while she kept on telling Loretta not to give in? Yeah the funniest parts was Frasier playing chess

Nick the Great

Nick Tortelli comes back when Loretta leaves him. He is angry with her for walking in on him and some woman in the shower. When Sam comforts her, Nick sees the gauntlet laid down and decides to go after Diane. What transpires is a hilarious series of scenes involving a group of classical musicians and some men who light candles. Great work.

One of the very best.

Warning: Spoilers
Probably in my top 10 favorite episodes of all time. They way Nick, played by the brilliant Dan Hedaya makes the band play every few minutes, and lights the candles. Nick thinks because Diane was nice to him, she wants him, so he goes through all this hilarious stuff to try to win her over. I don't wanna ruin anything, so just watch it. You won't be sorry. Jean Kasem as Loretta is hilarious as usual. And the acting by everyone involved is superb, as always. Cheers deserves all the accolades it receives. And this episode, left me "Spellbound" with laughter. It's an absolute riot. I was in tears watching it it was so hysterical. An absolute classic.
