It's nice that after a few 'Richard and Julia' heavy episodes we refocus on the character of Caroline herself, here getting in a flap because she's getting free cable and feels guilty about it. Didn't 'Friends' do something similar? The B story involving Richard and Annie, who is dating Richard's therapist is perhaps the funnier story, with Amy Pietz on top form as the lovable tart with a heart.
I liked the show better when Julia wasn't in it, but I understand why she was brought in, and that if Richard and Caroline were together there'd be no show.
A fun episode overall.
