Gwen Verdon And Pat Boone Guest Star
Jimmy_the_Gent49 August 2022
During the Q&A, Carol brings out Gwen Verdon, who says her favorite role was in the Broadway show Sweet Charity. She talks about acting class where she had to try to be inanimate objects, like a lighthouse. Carol is a piece of bacon.

A funny and unusual Old Folks sketch has them getting ready for bed instead of on their porch. Harvey sings a song and Carol doesn't say a word.

Gwen Verdon sings an old 1940s song Hurry On Down with the dancers.

Pat Boone sings a sad song about circuses in clown makeup. Then he does a duet with Carol where he imitates Dean Martin.

Some spoofs of TV commercials in next. Funniest is Harvey as Dracula.

Carol is a stage actress with the flu and has to go on with Harvey as her co star, he doesn't want her germs. Funny scene when doctor Lyle tries to give her flu shot on stage.

As Stomach Turns has Marian and Pat as her long lost brother. He wants to marry town naughty lady Gwen. Vicki is again the wayward daughter. Harvey is a rich man.

Carol, Vicki and Gwen do another circus theme musical sketch, singing Where The Grass Is Greener.

Carol starts to sing her theme song but can't find the note at first.
