The Ruthenian Circus is in town, and its leader, Vlad, is busy doing the rounds, trying to convince women to attend an after show party, unfortunately Vlad bears a striking resemblance to Brittas, and all manner of mix ups and confusions follow.
This has never been a favourite episode of mine, largely because I just don't don't it very funny, however, it is brilliant for one reason, Chris Barrie's wonderful performance, doubling up beautifully to play the two characters.
Moments to make you chuckle, nothing much to make you laugh out loud, some amusing scenes involving Vlad and Helen, and a few funny scenes featuring Colin, who seems to be getting more grotesque with every passing day.
Mildly funny.
6/10.
