I liked this episode, it presented prejudice on both sides of the Native Americans and Caucasians, prejudice that both sides needed to overcome.
As a Native American myself, I chose to look past the fact that none of the actors looked Native American, it was just a thing of those times to use Caucasian actors as Native American.
It did seem pretty obvious that "Davey" wants to go back to his tribe, to a life he has never lived, because of a girl, Bright Moon, that he instantly likes. Doesn't seem like a great reason, but hopefully he can get past that.
