An enraged and frustrated Chaney-framed by a rival pilot-is pulled off the Blue Thunder team for breaking off a drug stake out in order to pursue kidnappers and is put back on the beat. While Chaney's archrival is given control of Blue Thunder much to the horror of the team, especially when the new guy is a control freak and power hungry - and probably much worse.
I use to watch Blue Thunder in my early teens and I always enjoyed it, more than even Airwolf, and mainly because it was much lighter, had an engaging team, great action and Hi-tech fun. This particular episode supports my view, and it's really enjoyable with a grand 15 minutes with some fine tension.
