Tried to get a coast guard cutter to circle about, but Morby knocked the captain out. Next thing the Capt. Knows, Morby is firing on the coast guard. The cutter stopped the ship but the Capt. Lost his papers to sail.
Rip wants to know why the Capt. Believes Morby dynamited the pass. The Capt. Says the owner of the ship was Bolton and Morby worked for him. The Capt. Goes into town with Rusty to see the sheriff. The sheriff says he can't help the Capt. Without evidence. Then Morby rides into town. Bolton is said to have secret way to mine silver. The Capt. And Rusty decide to have a look-see.

Morby wants Bolton to provide him a ship or he will tell the authorities about Bolton using Chinese slaves. The Capt. And Rusty are planning on investigating, and Rip mounts a patrol to ride to Bolton's mine. The Capt. Has his bird deliver a black spot to Morby. Bolton has to cover his tracks before the cavalry arrives.
The Capt. And Rusty go into the mine and see the secret process for mining; Chinese slaves. Rinty takes the guard down while the Capt. Tries to free the Chinese. Rip arrives as the Capt. And the slaves are fighting for their freedom. Morby tries to get away and steal Bolton's money. Bolton is about to shoot Morby when Rinty arrives. The Capt. Stops Morby. Rip and the troopers mop us the rest.
