Poor man's French Mad Max
searchanddestroy-19 February 2024
During the eighties and early nineties, French movie industry gave us such material, all inspired by the MAD MAX success. You had Jean-Claude Missaien's LES HORDES in 1991 and Pierre William Glenn's TERMINUS in 1987. Only those who are interested in such stories, atmosphere, can really appreciate. Honestly, I did not. It is short, yes, not really boring, but the directing and performances from wooden actors can not save the whole in any way. I don't know any other movie or an kind of French stuff like this. Maybe there was but it must be very confidential in terms of release. You have audiences though for this kind of stories. They are just hard to find.
