Funny As hell.
razorwire28 June 2006
Low Production value, but who cares when you're laughing yourself silly. When I saw this I first thought it was going to be horrible, but boy was I wrong. It should be given some kind of award for the funniest low budget film ever made. These guys were not only witty and ingenious with their story but they were also very original with their comedy. I almost died when I saw that Bigfoot riding back from Florida hanging on the back of their mini van. This is the funniest example of nature strikes back I have ever had the privilege to witness. Cudos to you guys. Really cool music, lots of laughs, and a mile a minute fun ride from Florida to Chi-town. Keep making these clever comedies guys and someone's gonna notice you.

Punks fight a Bigfoot-like creature in the city of Chicago with whaling gear HILARIOUS!!!

Warning: Spoilers
This movie is hilarious. Seek it out. I saw it at a film festival and I don't know how they got away with some of the stuff they filmed. Ever since the famous "Patterson / Gimlin Footage" of an alleged Bigfoot was taken in 1967, there have been a great number of confirmed hoaxes and fake photographs and reports concerning Bigfoot like creatures roaming around the United States and Canada. However, a wave of sightings in the mid 1970's around Florida seemed to suggest something more than just a simple prank. Many people had begun to report sightings of a large ape-like hominid, completely covered in light brown hair, and which stood seven feet tall upright like a man. However, the most noticeable feature of this creature was the putrid odor that seemed to emanate from it. The smell varied in description, but was most commonly reported as being like a cross between a skunk, rotten eggs and even manure. A witness of the creature's sudden appearance in the Florida Keys in 1977, stated that "It stunk awful, like a dog that hasn't been bathed in a year and suddenly gets rained on". Sufficed to say, it was this fact that gave the creature it's name of "Skunk Ape". Thats what this movie is about, I don't want to give it away. You have to see it to believe it.
