Tristan Ulloa, best known as one of Spain's best young actors, has delighted audiences in Spain during a relatively short career that started in 1996.

With Ciclo, he assumes the role of director for the first time.I saw this film about one year ago, so I don't exactly remember the plot, but it was presented in an eerie and dark atmosphere and it had quite a good quality for a short film. However, the film indicates influence from directors like David Lynch (especially from Lost Highway)and at the end I had lots of questions. It's a pity that Tristan himself does not appear as an actor, but the cast does good performances and has an special appearance by Luis Tosar. Ulloa also wrote the script in collaboration with his brother, David. The drawings in the film are supposed to be done by Tristan Ulloa too.

I hope that after Ciclo more films (not only short ones!) directed by Tristan will come,he's really talented.
