THE BRAVEST ONE is a low rent martial arts thriller from Hong Kong, made in 1974 with an unknown cast and familiar storyline. Charlie Chin plays an upstanding young fighter who witnesses a mob hit and thereafter finds himself pursued by vengeful assassins and thugs in general. The police seem ineffective, so Chin must battle for supremacy against overwhelming odds. The action choreography isn't too hot in this film, but at least the contemporary locations (a racing track, etc.) make a nice change from the usual period-era countryside scenery.
