Full justice to the author's conception
deickemeyer21 April 2019
A two-part production, adapted from Charles Reade's noted novel, entitled "Peg Woffington." Strong dramatic work is necessary to bring out the points in this offering, and those who have the various leading characters in hand do full justice to the author's conception; the scenic effects, photography and costuming are perfect. Alan Hale, Vola Smith, Edward Cecil, Gretchen Hartman, A.C. Marston and Jack Drumier are the principals. A noteworthy production. - The Moving Picture World, November 21, 1914
