It's the future. Robots are ubiquitous. Aline Ruby is a private investigator working from Mars. Her partner is an older model robot with the memories of Carlos Rivera. Chris Royjacker is the tech guru of robotics. Aline gets hired to find two missing girls and that leads to a vast conspiracy in the robotic world.
This is a French animated film. The world building is amazing. It has a bit of Asimov, neo-noir, and Philip K. Dick. I wouldn't mind somebody try to bring this world into cinematic reality. I'm fine with the story mostly. I would like for it to hit harder on the neo-noir side. I also want Carlos to end up with something else. Mostly, I really enjoy this world.
