I work abroad with Americans. It's quite disturbing, but most US citizens are exactly like Chip; especially the progressive liberal types. This show had so much potential but the word "too" applies and it's just all too much. Too much deceit, lying, narcissism, etc. It makes the watch experience tedious and frustrating. Hoping that the main character gets his stuff together, well it just never really happens. There are some funny moments, but nobody ever grows or reaches a state of consciousness where they're considered to be a normal human being. A bed of lies. And that's it. How not to live.
