I loved this movie. It was beautifully filmed the cinematography was superb..It told the story of a very courageous woman and her struggle to achieve her dream of being the first woman to swim the English Channel. The Scenes in sea were especially good identifying her challenges against the cold water and currents ,you almost felt you were there with her. The attention to detail of the 1920s was wonderful with the costumes and the old cars. I loved the characters Mercedes Gleitze played by the beautiful Kirsten Callaghan and her grumpy coach Harold played by John Locke,,they portrayed their characters very well.
It was refreshing to watch a story that had previously seemed forgotten. I would highly recommend this film.
