The movie is set in Waterford, Ireland, and you can tell as there's plenty of Irish scenery to admire. Frank (the dog) does a fair amount of heavy lifting. There's also plenty of hurling action.
The subject matter is weighty (dealing with grief), but handled in a very moving and beautiful way. There are plenty of light-hearted moments throughout.
The audio is Gaeilge. I am a beginning learner and had to use subtitles, but I was able to comprehend a surprisingly large percentage of the dialogue. This certainly influences my rating of the movie, but I believe non-Gaeilgiori will enjoy the movie as well.
This is a truly wonderful movie.
