I watched this all the way to the end. A lot of scenes were awkward. The dialogue was just awful on many occasions. Lots of phrases got repeated over and over again, like these folks talk to each other in slogans all the time.
Reacher seems to be almost autistic on a Rain Man level. They should have hired Dustin Hoffman to join the team. A lot of time he is just standing around as people talk to him. He is a man of few words, but sometimes he just seems to be frozen without anything to say or think.
Serinda Swan becomes his girlfriend, and she has little or no chemistry with Reacher. The sex scenes between Reacher and Serinda are sad to watch. Maria Sten has more going on with Reacher, and she has more spark to her character. She has a lot more charisma than Serinda.
This season would have been a lot better without Serinda Swan or Marc Bendavid (O'Donnell). Swan was a really cold personality. O'Donnell added nothing to the whole season. He could have been written out and nobody would have noticed.
Robert Patrick does a good turn as a villain. The assassin guy is a nasty dude who kills people without much reason. The villains are all simple characters, but they are enough in terms of menace.
