The Vuvv are not menacing aliens taking over the world, just ignorant ones imposing their values on the humans. And they think by providing things to humans, that is all that is necessary. Printed food cubes instead of crops, and making more and more jobs irrelevant. They do not understand the human's need for work and accomplishment. They get rid of teachers and instead use memory nodes for teaching. And then take it even one step further, close all the schools and have the students learn only by the nodes. Not understanding that social interaction is important for students. Highly skilled people yearn even for the most menial jobs, just to have a job. They watch old B&W television shows like Ozzie & Harriet thinking that is perfect for society. However, some of the younger Vuvv venture out, and see that society is not as shown on those programs. When they close the school, Adam paints a mural on one side of the building, which they think is a masterpiece of human art and want to hire him to paint things that they will sell throughout the universe as representing humans. They learned nothing.
