I was looking forward to this new adaptation of The story of King Arthur, the first episode wasn't bad but that's as good as it gets. The characters are without any description apart from the already known characters. But even them seem lifeless, I have enjoyed Bernard Cornwalls novels, however this does little to be anything like he's excellent and exciting storytelling. Hopefully the next series will be better as this series fails to ignite any semblance of a fantastic story. It builds up certain plots within the story which I thought would define into something special, sadly not. I'm an avid follower of ancient period dramas, The Lost Kingdom and obviously Vikings are more memorable, however sadly the Winter King left me very disappointed,
