Excellent casting, strong performances & some careful attention to detail. Without giving too much away Daniel Radcliffe enlists in the army as WWI breaks out after some trouble entering, putting himself in mortal peril and splitting the family down the middle with the women full of reservations but his father left feeling as proud as punch. The second part then shifts to focussing exclusively on his family and their search for answers.
