I'm currently in the process of trying to "complete Star Wars".
I honestly didn't enjoy it but I'm giving it 5* because it's very clearly a kids film and I'm obviously not the target audience. The Ewok is the only single Star Wars reference in the entire film so it's almost hard to even label this as part of the Star Wars franchise. It's almost as if it's an independent film in its own right (which would have been fine) and they just stuck the Star Wars name on it to boost viewing figures.
For a young audience, it's absolutely fine. The little girl who plays the main character is actually really good in her role so props to her.
For a 30 year old male however, this is a pretty hard watch.
