Great concept, but terrible execution. The movie is a coming of age lesbian love story framed by an underlying teen vampire yawn. Pizza delivery and the Dracula-Van Helsing story are also central to the narrative.
This movie had potential, but the pacing and timing is off throughout. I don't know whether it is the editing or a lacklustre script, but the story just can't get moving and even the actors seemed to be bored with the story.
Lines are delivered just to be followed by uncomfortable pauses. A low budget is not an excuse for sloppy writing, direction and acting. The predictable story drags on from one derivative vignette and tired cliche to the next. Avoid.
