Canning Jam on Down to Fruit is not safe!

I watched this episode and was very unhappy with the way they put up jam. They did NOT process it to make it safe for storage. ALL HOME CANNED foods must be processed to prevent botulism. Jams in 8 oz jars must be processed in either boiling water or steam bath. Fruits are not shelf stable by just turning the closed jars upside done. Some jars lids pop as if sealed but are not safe. I am a canner for more than 20 years. Every year we are bombarded by people who do not follow safe preservation techniques. We must stress the proper ways to preserve food.
