Reggie is an innocent Border Terrier, completely loyal to his owner Doug, who doesn't love the way Reggie loves him. Reggie is mistreated everyday and after several attempts to get rid of him, Doug finally succeeds. New to being a stray, Reggie struggles to accept he has been abandoned but makes 3 very good friends during his stint as a stray. As he realizes Doug's mistreatment, he vows to take revenge by biting Doug's Dick off and the pack of 4 get on this mission, as achieving justice to every single dog that has been mistreated. Will they succeed in their revenge mission is something to watch out for.
It's a thorough entertainer and the Uber talented voice cast - Will Ferrell for Reggie, Jamie Foxx for Bug, Isla Fisher for Maggie and Randall Park for Hunter, make this one a solid watch. They don't take much time to establish Reggie's story and how bad Doug is to him. Quickly we get into Reggie's life as a stray and hilarious scenes which stand out are placed one after the other. If one loves dogs then it's an instant connection to the story narrated here, be it Reggie or even Bug's. Everything is exaggerated for laughs and once again, it's the voice cast who made those lines even better.
